safe & effective home remedies with honey for toddlers (over 1 year old) to relieve cough:


🌿 1. Honey + Warm Water (Soothing Drink)

  • Mix ½ tsp honey in 2–3 tbsp lukewarm water.

  • Give slowly with a spoon.

  • Helps coat the throat and reduce irritation.


🍋 2. Honey + Lemon Drops

  • Mix ½ tsp honey with a few drops of lemon juice.

  • Acts as a natural cough syrup — honey soothes, lemon provides vitamin C.


🫖 3. Honey + Ginger Juice

  • Extract a few drops of ginger juice (just 2–3 drops).

  • Mix with ½ tsp honey.

  • Helps if cough is related to throat irritation or mucus.


🌸 4. Honey + Tulsi (Holy Basil) Water

  • Boil 3–4 tulsi (basil) leaves in water, cool slightly.
