🥄 Ingredients (Main Base)
Amla (Indian Gooseberry) – 1 kg (fresh or dried) 🍏
Water – 2–3 liters 💧
Ashwagandha – 50 g 🌱
Pipali (Long Pepper) – 25 g 🌶️
Dalchini (Cinnamon) – 25 g 🌿
Elaichi (Cardamom) – 25 g 🌸
Nagkesar – 10 g 🌺
Bala, Vidarikand, Shatavari – 50 g each 🌿
Desi Ghee – 200 g 🧈
Honey – 500 g 🍯
Organic Jaggery or Sugar – 1 kg 🍬
Wash 1 kg Amla and boil them in 2 liters of water until soft.
Remove seeds and grind to make Amla pulp.
👉 Amla = Vitamin C powerhouse 💪
Take all the herbs (Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Pipali, Dalchini, etc.).
Boil in 1.5 liters of water → reduce to ¼ of volume.
Strain the decoction → keep aside.
👉 This decoction adds Ayurvedic medicinal essence 🌿
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 200 g ghee.
Add the Amla pulp and cook on low flame until golden brown.
Slowly add 1 kg jaggery (or sugar) and stir till thick.
👉 This becomes the jam-like base 🍯
Pour the herbal decoction into the pulp mix.
Add powdered spices (Dalchini, Elaichi, Pipali, Nagkesar).
Stir continuously until it thickens and leaves the pan’s sides.
👉 Rich aroma fills the kitchen ✨
Once cooled, add 500 g honey and mix well.
Store in a glass jar – away from sunlight ☀️
Adults: 1–2 tsp daily with warm milk 🥛
Kids (Above 3 yrs): ½ tsp daily
Best taken in morning or evening on empty stomach.
